A few years ago, while managing freelance projects and small business clients, we kept running into the same frustrating wall: there was no single tool that handled invoice scheduling properly. You could create an invoice here, send an email there, but getting a system to automatically send an invoice to a client on a specific future date - while also validating their VAT number without switching tabs - simply did not exist in any clean, affordable way. We were stitching together spreadsheets, calendar reminders, and three different apps just to get paid on time. That felt like a problem worth solving.

So we built BlueInvoice from scratch, starting with the two features that frustrated us most: scheduled invoice delivery and integrated VAT validation. Early users pushed us to go further - cleaner invoice creation flows, smarter email delivery tracking, and a dashboard that actually made sense at a glance. Every feature we added came from a real complaint, a real workaround someone was doing manually. Nothing was built to pad a feature list. If it did not remove a genuine pain point from the invoicing process, it did not ship.

Today, BlueInvoice is used by freelancers, agencies, and small business owners who need invoicing that works around their schedule - not the other way around. Our mission is straightforward: make professional invoicing feel effortless, whether you are billing one client or one hundred. We are a small team, we still use the product ourselves every week, and that keeps us honest about what actually needs to improve next.
